ONE PLACE LEFT
Lindisfarne, or the Holy Island of Lindisfarne to give it its full title, is a small island off the north Northumberland coast. The island is connected to the mainland by a causeway, which is accessible only at low tide.
Lindisfarne is rich in history, being a seat of Christianity dating back to the 7th century, and this history provides much material for the photographer.
The island can’t be beaten as a location for a day’s photography. This popular photography workshop will visit a number of sites across the island, including the harbour area with its iconic upturned boats, the area around the magnificent Priory and, of course, Lindisfarne Castle – perched on its distinctive rocky outcrop. The workshop is timed so that most of the workshop will take place when the causeway is closed. This means that the island should be quieter and there will be more scope for shooting water in around the harbour.Don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like to take part in this workshop or if you’d just like more information about this or any other workshop.
