St. Cuthbert's Way: A Photographic Journey After a truly epic amount of printing and framing, the 'St. Cuthbert's Way: A Photographic Journey' exhibition is finally underway. The exhibition's home until the 18th May is the Hawick Museum in the Scottish Borders. After the official opening day on Easter Sunday, Owen Connelly of the Hawick News praised the "remarkable collection of striking photographs by David Taylor, of Hexham". From 21st May to 29th June, the exhibition will be shown at Mellerstain House near the Border town of Kelso. The St. Cuthbert’s Way was officially opened in 1996, and though the route is not associated with any particular journey that Cuthbert made, it does pass through places that would have been very familiar to the saint. The walk traditionally starts in Melrose in the Scottish Borders and ends some sixty miles later on the Island of Lindisfarne.
