Charlie’s Garden: Northumberland’s one and only sea stack!

Charlie’s (or Charley’s) Garden, in Collywell Bay near Seaton Sluice, is Northumberland’s premier sea stack. In fact it’s Northumberland’s only sea stack. In this week’s video I make the effort and get up when it’s still dark to shoot Charlie’s Garden at sunrise. Discover how I get on, as well as one or two interesting facts about this singular geological feature. You can also see how I get on with my new (well second-hand) Olympus 7-14mm wide-angle lens; who Charlie actually was and why he had a garden on a sea stack; and why Lily had a very interesting time in Collywell Bay more than a century ago.
