This week I spend time in Newcastle upon Tyne (the city where I was born and raised) to shoot black and white photos of the river and the quayside. This is to try out DxO Silver Efex 9, one of the suite of apps found in the Nik Collection 9. This isn’t a review as such, or a comprehensive ‘how-to’. Think of it as me putting on my black and white head and trying to see the world in shades of grey. And having fun while doing so.
