Macro photography is fun. Macro photography with flash is even more fun. In this video I talk about using flash creatively when shooting flowers (in Dilston Physic Garden). I explain what a ring flash is and why you’d want one for close-up photography, as well as how to modify a standard flash gun to that the light is softer. I also wait patiently for a bee to arrive; crack a terrible joke; regret not turning my mic on (again); and generally waffle on about flash and unfairness of British weather.
