Lake District Two-Night Workshop

This September, join James Turton and me for a two-day photography workshop in the Langdale Vallery area of the Lake District. James is the owner of Photography Basecamp, which he created to offer a wonderfully different and unique take on the residential photography workshop. As he sees it, why stay in a boring hotel when you could sleep in a tent on location? And not just any old tent either. James provides world-class Hilleberg tents, or – as an upgrade – comfortable and spacious Tipis. (One Tipi is reserved for use as a communal space during the workshop and is equipped with a wood-burning stove. This truly is camping in style…)

As James states on the Photography Basecamp website: ‘I have invested a great deal in creating this service. I believe the comfort package we deliver and the sense of togetherness we create around our Tipi delivers a unique workshop experience.’

James is a keen and experienced photographer and is very knowledgeable about the Lake District, having walked 194 ‘Wainwrights’ so far. Throughout the workshop we’ll both be on hand to offer advice on photography, as well as guide you to beautiful and photogenic spots in the Lake District.

For more information, visit Photography Basecamp or contact James here (quoting ‘David Taylor 6-8 September : Lake District‘).
