Everyone has an off day every now and then. Last week I had one when I set off to photograph Kevelin Moor near the town of Allendale in Northumberland. Firstly, I managed to end up on the wrong moor. So my afternoon was spent on Acton Moor instead. Then the weather wasn’t as great as I’d hoped. And when the clouds parted and I got the direct light I wanted I managed to not make the most of the conditions.
