Life really gets in the way at times, doesn’t it? I’m currently tied to my desk trying to finish a big project – a book, thank you for asking – and that’s left me very little time to do any photography, let along make a video for YouTube.

Fortunately, I have a cunning plan! (I’m sure someone else coined that phrase…) Over the past few months I’ve recorded a number of videos that have never seen the light of day. (For a variety of reasons I won’t go into now.) I’ve incorporated some of those videos into this video. Think of it as a photography stew boiled up from ingredients found lying around the kitchen (such an old misshapen carrot and a jar of sauce that’s slightly out of date possibly.)

Anyway, in this video you can see what one of my favourites movies of all time is and why I think every photographer should see it; who I am and what type of photography I like (you probably know that already); and what my thought processes are when I’m out and about shooting photos. Normal service will be resumed next. Probably.
