Using a Canon FD 100mm macro lens on an mft camera

I do like to occasionally take a DIY approach to photography. So adapting a lens designed for a different lens mount to Micro Four Thirds is right up my street.

In this video I explore a short stretch of country lane, taking photos with my Olympus OM-1 and a variety of lenses. Two of these – my 60mm macro and 75-300mm zoom – fit directly to my camera. The third – a Canon FD 100mm macro lens – does not.

Discover how I adapted this lens to fit my camera and why black sticky tape is important. You can also learn why I like backlighting when shooting flowers; why NS is better than AI (probably); and why flower photography isn’t ideal when there’s more than a gentle breeze.
